Absorbent socks

Enviro Gold absorbent socks are portable bunding used to contain and restrict the flow of a spill. Also used as an effective barrier around leaky equipment or to prevent liquids from entering storm-water drains.

We stock 3 different types of absorbent Socks:

General purpose socks for absorption of oil and water (non hazardous) based liquids and drips

Enviro Gold HazChem Chemical Socks

HazChem refers to aggressive chemical like acids, caustics and corrosive liquid.

Non-reactive

Enviro Gold Oil Only Socks

Absorbs oils, fuels, coolants and other non water soluble liquids.
Does not absorb water (hydrophobic)
Floats on water
up to 50% more absorbency than polypropylene
Spunbond coverstock adds extra durability

Absorbent sheets and pourables

We stock a range of Absorbent products to contain and clean up spills. Environmentally friendly, biodegradable matting to soak up spills, socks to create a barrier and pourable ‘kitty litter’ type products.

Absorbent mat – cut sheets and rolls

Enviro Gold Absorb-mat is used for oil and liquid based spills. There are Oil-only Absorbent matting and also Hazardous chemical mat sheets and rolls.

70% recycled newsprint and other cellulose.
80% from renewable resource. Cotton for Oil Only mats.
up to 25-50% more absorbent than oil-based polypropylene sorbents.
Less expensive than oil-based polypropylene sorbent as it is not impacted by volatile oil prices.
Coverstock backing adds to the durability. Can be used for foot traffic and wiping applications.

Available in sheet matting form or in roll form with perforated sheets that can be torn off for use. We sell aluminium wall mounted roll dispensers for installation in workshops as shown. These are a great combination for any workshop.

Workshop Spill Control Kits

Enviro Gold Spill Kits are perfect to control, contain and remove spills fast. The wheelie bin kits are ideal for workshops and sites where they can be quickly moved closer to the spill. They contain PPE, absorbents to clean up and contain and waste bags to remove. The wheelie bin is able to be restocked so it is ready to go next time.

Use HydroCarbon spill kits (red bins) for fuel, oil, petroleum, cooking oils and other messy liquid spills. Hazchem spill kits (blue bins) for chemicals.
